Made of black tinplate with a plastisol liner. For use with hot-fill product. Cap draws a vacuum as it cools for an airtight seal. Acid-resistant plastisol liner is ideal for tomato based products and other acidic foods. Use for pasteurized, hot filled, packed or post processed product at temperatures less than 212°F. Not for use with retort or autoclaving processes above 212°F or processes with override pressures.
